Beyonce was joined Tuesday night by husband and rapper Jay-Z, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, comedian Chris Rock and actress Angela Bassett at the New York premiere for her upcoming documentary “Life Is But a Dream” at the Ziegfeld Theater. The feature length film will make its debut on HBO Saturday Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. ET.

The 31-year-old superstar entertainer shined on the red carpet as she posed with celebrity friends and officials with cable network. When the documentary was announced last year those behind the project said it would give fans of the all-around star access to her private life in addition to her public performances.

The former Destiny’s Child singer has made several high-profile appearances leading up to the film’s debut. She attended the Grammy Awards this past weekend and earlier this month rocked the Super Bowl half-time show.
Beyonce who also serves as executive producer for the documentary will sit down with Winfrey for an interview to discuss the film for “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on OWN Saturday Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
