Beyoncé shared a photo of herself on Instagram during the rehearsals for her upcoming Super Bowl XVII halftime show, on Jan. 26. The pic is fueling speculation that the 31-year-old may be poking fun at the lip-sync backlash stemming from her presidential inauguration performance.
The “Crazy In Love” singer sported a sweatshirt that read “Can I Live?” She finished the ensemble with black leggings, a baseball cap and sunglasses. With all the discussion about her pre-recorded performance last week, some people are wondering if the message on the sweatshirt is a deliberate attempt to address the outrage or a simple coincidence as hubby Jay Z has a song called “Can I Live” on a past album.
As the world anticipates the singer’s half-time performance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 3, Queen Bey and her team are working tirelessly on perfecting her production. The starlet has big shoes to fill following notable past performances from artists such as Janet Jackson and Madonna, but Beyoncé doesn't disappoint when it comes to putting on a great show.
Beyoncé's Super Bowl XLVII half-time show airs Feb. 3 on CBS.
