When GQ Magazine officially released their cover photo of Beyonce for their forthcoming February issue, there was a wave of backlash that came from the image. [Click HERE for photos from Beyonce's shoot]
Revealing much skin in a sports top and red leopard underwear, Beyonce obviously was trying to create some interest for her upcoming Super Bowl appearance, and she indeed does look great after having given birth to her daughter Blue Ivy last year.
As soon as the GQ cover shot was released, fans reacted to the photo, many suggesting that there was no way whatsoever that the picture, which showed off Beyonce’s legs, wasn’t heavily photo shopped.
Perhaps taking the criticism to heart, Beyonce took to her person Tumbler account on Friday, Jan. 11, where she showed off a new photo of herself on the beach playing with Blue Ivy, who just happened to be in the midst of celebrating her first birthday.
Beyonce’s image, perhaps in response to the public chiming in, shows off her ripped abs as well as a pair of toned legs. Judging from this personal picture, it seems that the photo shot likely wasn’t altered too much.
