Beyonce's Life Is But A Dream pulls record ratings for HBO

Beyonce's directorial debut Life Is But A Dream, scored a record 1.8 million viewers for its debut on Saturday night, the highest ratings in a decade for a HBO documentary.

The critically panned doc (Life is But A Zzzzzz would've been a better title), written, starring, directed and executive produced by Mrs. Carter, topped Spike Lee's Hurricane Katrina documentary When The Levees Broke which drew 1.7 million viewers in 2006.

Queen Bey's pull was strong on OWN as well. The Oprah's Next Chapter interview with Beyonce, which aired earlier that night, drew 1.3 million viewers.
