Beyonce's GQ cover released early after photo leaked on Instagram

E! News reported Wednesday that an Instagram user leaked the cover of the GQ magazine early, prompting them to respond to media and eventually releasing the photo Wednesday.

Thanks to an low-res Instagram image leaked yesterday, fans got to appreciate Beyonce's sexy photo earlier than planned. GQ Magazine and its cover weren't going to be released until Jan. 22, but plans change when sexy photos of sexy stars go viral.

A rep for the magazine told E! News, "Its a leak. We're having them remove it. The issue doesn't drop until next week. We'll follow up with pics then."

But with a snapshot like that, GQ couldn't hold out until next week, and released the cover shot today!

The cover of GQ was the first of many appearances Beyonce has lined up this year. On January 21, she will perform at the 57th inauguration of President Barack Obama. On Wednesday, organizers also announced performances by James Taylor, whose eternal calm could feel surreal on a toxic Capitol Hill, and Kelly Clarkson, the first “American Idol” winner.

Then, on February 3rd, Beyonce will take the the stage at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to perform the halftime show during Super Bowl XLVII. 100 fans will introduce her to the stage, as part of a promo with Pepsi.
