If you've noticed that the superstar duo of Jay Z and Beyoncé have been looking unusually sleek and healthy, the secret's in their diet. The couple's personal trainer Marco Borges revealed the details of their vegan diet cleanse, current food plan and Bey's favorite energy bars in a Feb. 14 interview with E News.
Jay Z and Queen Bey, as she's known to her fans, joined up for a 22-day vegan diet. Since that ended, they've stayed with a mostly plant-based diet, including some fish, said Marco.
"She is all about health and wellness," he explained. "She just wants to feel good."
CEO of 22 Days Nutrition, Marco has created his own brand of energy bars. Bey's favorite snack, says Marco: "The 22 Days Nutrition bars. Her favorite flavors are Peanut Chocolate-Chip Nirvana, Cherry Chocolate Bliss and Pineapple Chocolate-Chip Wonder."

But why 22 days? Marco explains that it takes 21 days to form a habit, such as shifting from a meat-based diet to a plant-based weight loss plan.
As for fitness, Marco oversees both Beyonce's and Jay Z's workouts, including "body-weight squats, lunges and pliés, along with plyometric exercises and sprint intervals."
