Beyonce was pulled off stage by a shirtless fan during her performance of hit song “irreplaceable” on Sunday September 15, USA Today reports.
Beyonce made a stop in Sao Paulo, Brazil for her Mrs. Carter World Tour at the Morumbi Stadium. In mid performance the singer bent down to connect with her fans and a second later a male fan hopped on stage and grabbed Beyonce in an attempt to pull her off of the stage.
A member of Beyonce’s security team pulled her back on stage before she was whisked into the crowd.
As the fan was being escorted out of the arena Beyonce yells to the security, “it’s ok”, and motions for the fan to come and shake her hand. "What’s your name? It’s Nice to meet you,” she says. Thank you, I love you, too."
Beyonce has been known for her warm responses to fans, even those who compromise her safety. In May of this year the singer was slapped in the butt by a fan in Copenhagen. Beyonce responded,”I will have you escorted out right now, alright?”
In April of this year Beyonce was smacked in the face and had her hair pulled by overeager fans in Serbia. The performer just kept walking through the crowd, not posing any reprimand to her fans.
Either this singer has an awfully big, forgiving heart, or would rather not deal with the confrontation, either way her fans seem to adore her even more as her reaction to these situations make her seem more approachable.
