Beyonce Photoshop: Beyonce accused of adding 'thigh gap' to photo

Did Beyoncé Photoshop a recent bikini photo? On April 10, Mail Online reported that Beyoncé is under fire after it appeared as though she added a "thigh gap" to a candid photo she posted of herself playing golf while on vacation. Apparently Bey's leg looks strange and her muscle appears flexed in a weird way, leaving many fans wondering if she altered the picture before posting it.

"Really @Beyonce? we all love your thick thighs. NO reason to photoshop a thigh gap in there," tweeted Maria Bee. "With her money, Beyoncé should be able to pay someone who is better at Photoshop," tweeted Jessica Wakeman.

The Beyoncé Photoshop scandal has turned into a huge debate on the Internet, some people insisting that Bey made her legs look slimmer and others saying that the singer and mother of one probably doesn't have time to alter her photos before sharing them online.

With all of the recent chatter about "thigh gaps" and how women so desperately want to have a space between their upper thighs while they are standing, the attack on Beyoncé seems a little overboard. Why wouldn't she just refrain from using that particular photo if she didn't like the way that her legs looked? She has shared plenty of pictures that haven't been "perfect."

If Beyoncé needed to Photoshop a photo to include a "thigh gap" for one reason or another, why do people even care so much? It seems that the obsession with weight and getting that "perfect body" has gone too far.

You can check out Beyoncé's Tumblr for the particular photo in question and other photos from her recent vacation to the Dominican Republic with her husband, Jay-Z, and their daughter, Blue Ivy. All of the photos that she chooses to share with fans are quite sweet and many appreciate that she likes to share some intimate parts of her life with the world -- but if she is going to get attacked for altering said photos? It might not even be worth it to her...
