Beyonce was honored at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. Before she took her award, she gave the live audience the best performance of the night. She performed Run the World (Girls) live and in an elaborate setting gave everyone an eyeful.
The segment took the girl power ballad to a new lever and brought out the visuals of the performance in a stunning look not before at big award shows. Sharing the song, at one point, Beyonce was moving about the stage in sequenced dance and the screen moved as well to actually compliment her actions. One part of the segment had the entertainer multiplied on screen so she looked as if she were several dozen people at once.
The Billboard Music Awards gave Beyonce a special award after the performance. The Billboard Icon Award was given to her by her mom Beyonce. In addition to her family, there were beautiful accolades from her colleagues of her accomplishments in the music business.
