Rumor: Al Sharpton to become involved in Beyonce controversy
Since it was revealed yesterday that Beyonce was indeed miming her National Anthem performance, many have been wondering whether or not she will lip sync at the Super Bowl. A source who is rehearsing with Beyonce for the performance has informed us that at first, Beyonce planned to lip sync to tracks she has recorded last week. However, in the wake of the backlash from her National Anthem performance, team Bey is going back to the drawing board.
"Beyonce is extremely upset about the backlash," our source says. "She understand how people could be a little annoyed, but didn't think it would blow up this big. Because of this, the Super Bowl performance is being revamped. You will definitely hear a singing Beyonce."
This can be either a good thing or a bad thing. It is impossible to do a soundcheck before a halftime show, so vocal performances can turn disastrous.
