Beyonce halftime show: A Destiny's Child reunion

The Beyonce halftime show, one that included a Destiny's Child reunion, was likely everything fans expected. On Feb. 3, 2013, Super Bowl 2013, from New Orleans, La., was shown on CBS. Although everyone tuned in to watch the Baltimore Ravens play the San Francisco 49ers, and the creative and often funny commercials, the Super Bowl Halftime Show was also eagerly anticipated. In fact, according to Fox News, Madonna's halftime performance last year got more viewers than the actual game.

The beautiful Beyonce has been battling the backlash she received when she admitted she lip-synched "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the second Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama. For the halftime show, the 31-year-old declared she would "absolutely be singing live."

Her spectacular performance will likely erase all the lip-synching talk.

Sasha Fierce, sporting naughty black leather with black leggings, and long wavy hair, walked the stage with that signature strut, her many female dancers in tow. Filled with glamour and sex appeal, there were lots of close ups and bright lights.

Beyonce sang such songs as "Crazy Right Now" and "Baby Boy." Then, as many were anticipating, up popped Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the event turned into a Destiny's Child affair, to the crowd's screams of delight.

After the Rowland and Williams visit, Beyonce concluded the show singing "Single Ladies" and "Halo." "Thank you for this moment. God bless you all," a smiling Beyonce said when the event ended.

Did it bring in more viewers than Madonna's?
