Beyonce graces the cover of GQ Magazine (Video)

Beyoncé graces the cover of the February 2013 GQ Magazine. She seems to be showing her athletic side; well she has been asked to make a big debut for the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII, in which she will be performing during halftime of the game. Beyoncé is looking great in her post-baby body after giving birth one year ago to a beautiful baby girl “Blue Ivy” (see slideshow for GQ photo shoot).

Always working towards goals

During her GQ interview, Beyoncé talks about how hard she works, even during her childhood she worked very hard to reach goals. The hard work has placed her in a position at the age of 30; where she’s able to do as she chooses, but acknowledges the fact that she had to sacrifice a lot to earn her spot. The singer feels she may very well be one of the hardest workers in the music industry. As a singer, actor, and entertainer, she feels very fortunate to be where she is today and has to often remind herself she deserves it.

Truly back in business again

After giving birth only a year ago, Beyoncé seems to be getting back into the swing of things as usual with business quite well. During the Super Bowl, we will more than likely also see her in business again, as she has become the new face for Pepsi, in which she recently signed a $50 million deal with Pepsi. This will more than likely include commercials during the Super Bowl and coming soon, we should be seeing her face on Pepsi soda cans.

We will also be seeing Beyoncé in the next few weeks during the Presidential Inauguration. In 2009, at the Neighborhood Inaugural Ball, Beyoncé sang “At Last,” which President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama had their first dance while she sang. This year, for President Obama’s second inauguration, Beyoncé is back again to perform during the president’s swearing in on January 20. She will be singing the “Star Spangled Banner.”

We will also be seeing Beyoncé on an up and coming HBO documentary (according to GQ sources). The documentary will be a visual autobiography, based on herself and her family. She is behind this entire documentary; although she’s in the documentary, she also financed, directed, produced, and narrated the HBO documentary film.
