On January 6, 2013, USA Today posted Blue Ivy Carter who just turned a year old has her very own one million dollar apartment in the Barclays Center. According to the online publication, Jay-Z will rent this apartment every year for his daughter. The baby will have her toys and other accessories there. However, it is not just baby Blue Ivy Carter who will enjoy this suite; the adults will have fun too. Jay-Z is renting the most expensive suite in the 11 unit building. He will entertain adults with a champagne bar and a jumbo screen TV.
Celebrity spending on children
There is no doubt that celebrities pay out crazy money for their children. According to Business Insider, Even before her baby was born, Jessica Simpson spent $2,000,000 to rent the entire hospital floor equipped with security guards so she could have her baby.
The Beckhams spent “$900 on Harper's iCandy Peach stroller and bought a $20,000 tree house.

According to Forbes, “Brad and Angelina spends $10 million per year on their kids. They spent $7,000 on a private boat for Pax's 7th birthday.”
Godfather Tom Cruise spent $200,000 on the Jennifer Lopez’s twins' designer christening outfits.
The list goes on and on but the reality is Beyoncé and Jay-Z are just being normal celebrity parents who want the best for their child.
