Where’s the “Jigga man” Jay-Z when you need him? There is a look of both elation and then fear on Beyoncé’s face in the attached video to the left – one that shows a close-up view of a shirtless Brazilian man pulling her off the stage in Sao Paulo – a video that is going viral in the less than 24 hours since it was uploaded on Sunday, September 15, 2013.
This other video of the incident, shown from a higher-up vantage point, shows more of what happened before and after the incident, as Beyoncé sang an updated version of her you-must-not-know-‘bout-me “Irreplaceable” song and bent down to greet the fans and then got snatched off stage by the rabid man.
That’s the YouTube video also going viral showing the singer continuing on with the show, ever the professional, but also grace-filled, in that she hollered for her security to wait as they rustled the man away.
“It’s all right,” she said, pausing and bending down once more, asking the man his name.
“I love you, too,” she continued.
Indeed, if it’s not a mechanical fan pulling on Beyoncé’s long weave and bringing her down to the ground, it’s a crazy human fan pulling her and her blonde and Malaysian Remi virgin hair weave off the stage and into his arms, all in the face of threats of being tossed from his great seats at the concert venue.
Just another day in Beyoncé land.
