The pop diva dropped a visual album entitled "Beyoncé" over night, to the surprise of many of her fans , who woke to the exciting news. It's Beyoncé fifth full length studio album. The internet went into a frenzy, as word began to spread of the release on Itunes. Beyoncé confirmed the news on her Instagram account shortly after midnight, with one simple word to her fans "Surprise!".
This is big, fans over the years, have come to expect show stopping performances from Queen B, but this is different. She didn't just release a single, she instead released an entire album! The album has 14 songs and each song is accompanied by a music video w/three additional bonus videos included.
Beyoncé collaborated with some of music biggest names Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Drake, Frank Ocean, The Dream and others. Beyoncé also includes hubby Jay Z on some of the tracks like "Drunk In Love", which signifies her love and passion she has for him, and even gives daughter Blue Ivy full video credit for her appearance on the song "Blue". Beyoncé goes deep on this album such as on the song "Heaven" that gives fans a glimpse into her private emotions. She explains in one of the videos why she decided to go this route, she simply wanted to do "something different", and I think she succeeded. Beyoncé on this album, left the hype and the glitz behind, and was able to focus on her craft, and give her fans the best of herself.
