Beyoncé’s leather bodysuit had a pointed top that pulled away from her chest when she did certain dance moves, so she was just asking for a wardrobe malfunction with all the shaking and gyrating that she did. After analyzing Bey’s booty-shaking very carefully, an astute viewer was able to capture a screen shot of what might be a nip slip. The shot is extremely blurry, and Gossip Cop points out that it might be altered. It’s also possible that a strand of Bey’s wild hair cast a shadow on her chest that made it look like she flashed a nipple for a split second.
The supposed nip slip is getting compared to Janet Jackson’s infamous wardrobe malfunction from her 2004 Super Bowl performance, but Beyoncé’s flash of flesh was over so fast that it couldn’t have been caught without a high-definition screen shot.
Bey’s supposed nip slip isn’t the only part of her Super Bowl performance that’s getting buzz. She’s been accused of flashing an Illuminati symbol during her performance, and some conspiracy theorists think that she caused the Superdome power outage. But at least she didn’t lip sync this time.
