If the First Lady totally loves her and calls her a great role model for her young daughters, then what could be the problem? If you ask Beyoncé’s former band mate, Michelle Williams, she will tell you.
Michelle says Beyoncé’s highly sexualized new album is a little ‘embarrassing’. Michelle, who has recorded several successful gospel albums since the Destiny’s Child split, told Us Weekly that the self-titled album -- with graphic songs like "Drunk in Love," "Blow," and "Rocket" -- is much more graphic than she imagined.
"I was telling someone on the way here how I was laughing," she continued. "I don’t know if it’s laughter of shyness or embarrassment because the makeup artist and everyone was listening to her say these things, and I’m like, 'That’s private girl!' We aren’t supposed to know all that. But she is married and has produced a baby, and we know what you have to do to produce a baby so OK!"
Even though Williams did not want to hear details of Beyoncé’s intimate business, she says she loves the album and thinks “it’s amazing!"
As for Beyoncé, it’s business as usual. Fresh off of a show-stopping performance at the First Lady’s star-studded 50th birthday bash, she is gearing up for what is sure to be a much talked about performance when she hits the stage tonight at the Grammy’s to perform her song “Drunk in Love” with her husband, Jay-Z.
