Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding day is finally coming this May; the day they’ve been waiting for, the day "momager" Kris Jenner has been waiting for, and the day the world has been waiting for.

The two people in this world who don’t seem as enthused as everyone else are Beyoncé and Jay-Z. According to Perez Hilton, Beyoncé is telling friends that she will not be attending Kim Kardashians wedding due to the irrepressible press attending. Yes, the wedding will be filmed for E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

A close source to the Drunk in Love couple revealed that Bey told husband Jay-Z she will not be a part of the filming of reality TV because she believes it is “tacky.” She’s a very private person, and so is her husband.

According to Perez Hilton, Jay and Beyoncé’s wedding was extremely intimate and private for family and friends only. Kim and Kanye’s wedding will be exactly the opposite. With Kim’s motto of more is more, Bey thinks the wedding will be tacky. She is worried about her image and does not like “trashy TV.”

However, Beyoncé will attend for the sole reason hubby Jay-Z is best friends’ with Mr. West.

Beyoncé does not stand alone on the matter. Jay-Z allegedly turned down the opportunity to be Kanye’s best man because it was being filmed for reality TV.

According to the Guardian Liberty Voice, Kim has tried to make friends with the mega star when she first started dating Kanye, but Beyoncé refused to be the target Kim was aiming for.

Kim and Kanye are putting all their guests through an almost airport type security upon arrival, as well as requesting all guests sign a confidentiality agreement. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been exempt from those requests.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been known to sit down with positive world leaders such as Oprah and President Obama and First Lady Michelle. The power couple has definitely been selective in their social arrangements. Let’s see how this one pans out. The wedding is set in Paris on May 24.
