Beyoncé announces world tour (Photos)

On the heels of her stunning Super Bowl Halftime performance, Beyoncé has announced plans for an extensive world tour.

Dubbed “The Mrs. Carter Show,” the 46-date trek starts in Europe this spring, before returning Beyoncé stateside in July.

Fittingly, the final scheduled show is set for Aug. 3 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which husband Jay-Z opened with 8 sold out shows.

The tour will come in support of Beyoncé’s as-yet-titled new studio album, the followup to her 2011 LP "4," which is expected to be released in April.

She’s also self-directed a documentary about her life and career titled "Life Is But a Dream," which will premiere on HBO on Sunday, Feb. 16.
