President Obama took a “shellacking” as a result of the November 2010 elections. Republicans took over the House and gained more seats in the Senate. Many states, like Michigan, that were once blue are now red; trading Democratic leadership for Republican leadership.
As a result of such heavy losses, the president is appearing, to many, as a centrist. That simply is not true. President Obama has never left is liberal, socialist, big government ideology and is just playing politics as usual to gain more votes for the 2012 election cycle. And it seems that the president has gained some ground with some, easily fooled, independent voters. This is VERY dangerous. It cannot be stressed enough how terrible President Obama’s re-election would be for America.
Let’s go back a bit and see some of what our president has done for us his first 2 + years in office…

- Massive expansion of the federal government. This was the federal government “creating” jobs (government jobs) from the stimulus bills. We still have a high unemployment rate!
- Socialized medicine a.k.a. ObamaCare; found unconstitutional by a federal judge. Not-to-mention the 26 states, including Michigan, suing the federal government over the healthcare law.
- Weakening our national defense with the START Treaty with Russia, largely ignoring radicalized Muslims, and an unsecured border with Mexico leading to the loss of American lives.
- The very negative comments made by the president, his administration, members of the Democratic Party, and liberals in general about the TEA Party protests.
The list goes on and on. It seems many have forgotten.
The president obviously has an agenda; Big Brother Government. In the meantime he has to secure re-election, hence the appearance of moving to the center. How does he appear to be moving to the center? One example is that he is reaching out to the states to “allow” each state to choose how to implement government-run healthcare through a waiver system. THIS IS A PLOY! That state waiver will still need to be approved through the President’s Human Services Chief. It will still come down to a single-payer system. Another example is the rhetoric passed on to the American people about comprise with the Republican controlled House of Representatives. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!

There are many other things at play, but the mainstream media will never report it. It is vital to America’s survival that we all do our homework, research everything and share the information with our friends/neighbors, and ensure Obama is a one term president. The practice of politics as usual, the status quo, and elite status must stop here.
