We know that April showers brings May flowers, but where are single mothers getting lucky in love in the United States? In honor of Mother's Day, Match.com surveyed over 5,000 single moms to find out what cities ranked the highest for women daters with children who are members of their online dating site.
Our own Beverly Hills in the Los Angeles metropolitan area made it to the middle of the Top 10 list, ranking at #5.
According to the poll of 5,200 single female members, led by Dr. Helen Fisher, single parents in the US are dating more (21%) compared to singles without children (16%).
If Beverly Hills is out of your geographic area, go ahead and cast a wide net. If you're willing to move, changing your ZIP code to these cities may result in finding love for you and your family. Single mothers on the East Coast were the most successful, with seven out of ten cities represented on the list.
