Between you and the rest of the world: Aveeno

Here we go again. Another Spring is right around the corner which means it’s time to start addressing the fact that yet again this will be a season that requires clothing for almost all but the most fun and interesting of occasions. However, before we get dressed, we are going to embark on a little series that starts with what goes on before the clothes go on which brings us to skin care.

The sun is out to get you. The wind will chap your hide. Even your soap may be working to dry your skin out. To avoid walking around with flesh withered like that of a Virginia Ham, there’s a product or two you should know about.
Aveeno makes a line of products that can help keep your flesh smooth and supple by blocking some of the harmful rays of the sun while imparting a bit of moisture. If that’s not enough, they even have a line of tinted moisturizers that can help even out skin tone without making it look like you’re wearing make-up (not that there’s anything wrong with that). Let’s take a look, shall we?

For the face, there’s a couple products to consider. For those of us with sensitive skin, Aveeno’s Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 is a good way to keep from getting chalky while blocking some sun. For a bit more protection, the Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 (tinted or not tinted) is a great way to get moisturized and protected from the sun while evening out skin tone so you can put your best face forward. For the rest of your body, Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Lotion with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 can help limit your daily exposure dose of sun while providing a moisture barrier to keep you looking your best.

If you want to get on this particular skin-care bandwagon, all you have to do is head to your local CVS, Rite-Aid, or Walgreens. Once there you will find the above-mentioned products as well as a whole host of other Aveeno potions that can help you looking your best and keep you from drying out and blowing away (or something like that).
