Betty White will be doing the introduction to Monday Night Football on Monday, December 26, 2011 when the New Orleans Saints take on their biggest rival, the Atlanta Falcons.
The 'Hot in Cleveland' star will be featured sitting down in a living room all decked out in holiday cheer with a Christmas tree in the background and a New Orleans Saints mug and Atlanta Falcons mug sitting on the coffee table beside her. White will deliver a holiday themed message to kick off the big game that will be televised on ESPN.
Betty White also starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Snickers back in 2010. And if you are wondering, yes she is a football fan!
The Monday Night Football introductions were previously done by Toby Keith with a musical number. Keith was let go earlier this year after making some racial remarks.
Monday night's game will be a physical one, as it always is with these two rival teams. New Orleans' fans will be waiting for Drew Brees to break Dan Marino's passing record in one season. That will be one of the expected highlights in this game.
The game Monday night will take place in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. Kickoff will be at 7:30 pm Central Standard Time and broadcast live on ESPN.
