Betty White is 91 years old and likely experiencing one of the most successful times of her life. On Feb. 5, 2013, People reported the "Hot in Cleveland" star said, "Now that I'm 91, as opposed to being 90, I'm much wiser. I'm much more aware, and I'm much sexier."
"Sexy" isn't just based on age. Says Corey Alexander in his article "The Beauty of Older Women," "For me, sexy has to do with an openness and flow of energy more than 'parts' or looks. It’s less about years and more about how a person lives inside their own skin. It’s about how sure they are of who and what they are. A smile can be sexy. A confident, knowing smile is more sexy!"
Betty White is known for her smile, her comedic nature and for not taking things too seriously. "Everybody spoils you like mad, and they treat you with such respect because you're old. Little do they know, you haven't changed. You haven't changed in [the brain]. You're just 90 every place else," said the star.
Famous for her roles on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Golden Girls," the award-winning White hosted a "Saturday Night Live" episode in May 2010 after a Facebook campaign, created by her fans, encouraged Lorne Michaels to make her a host. Now White is arguably the most popular star of "Hot in Cleveland," which celebrates its 4th season.
