Betty White has been known for keeping up with the times. On October 22 she did just that as Entertainment Weekly reported White's spoof on the Miley Cyrus music video for "Wrecking Ball." White says at the beginning of the video, "I got some ideas from recent pop culture events that really got the kids talking."
In the original music video, Miley Cyrus set tongues wagging when she appeared nude and riding atop a wrecking ball with nothing on but her shoes. In the Betty White spoof, White spares us the visual as she dons a white jogging suit.
The 91-year old comedian is looking a fresh as can be at the end of the video where she asks "Can someone bring me a sledgehammer?" It is unfathomable what she had in mind for the foam finger as the camera stopped rolling.
The Miley Cyrus spoof is part of an ad campaign for Betty White's "Off Their Rockers" which will be making debut on Lifetime this coming Wednesday. Surely the 30 second ad promo featuring Betty White and a wrecking ball will encourage viewers to tune in.
