Betty White on 'Saturday Night Live:' hidden scenes and huge ratings (video)

Betty White's presence on "Saturday Night Live" isn't just drawing rave reviews -- it's also pulling in big ratings. According to a new story by Variety, the comedy legend's hosting gig (which you can see a full recap for here with videos) brought in a rating of 8.8 and a 21 share of the market. These ratings are the highest for "SNL" ever since their pre-election special back in 2008, which featured Tina Fey's famous Sarah Palin parody and an appearance by then-candidate John McCain.

Even more impressive was the fact that White's presence allowed the show to more or less double the ratings of all primetime programs on during the night -- the only thing that came close was an NBA playoff game featuring the Los Angeles Lakers.

Since "SNL" had so much material for their show, there is one sketch featuring Rachel Dratch that didn't even make the cut. Check it out below, since Betty White makes an appearance near the end.

Well hopefully that will make you open your eyes SNL and look for better talent to host the show. And please god no more Justin Bieber. The people that would want to see him are in bed already. He ruined Tina Feys show.
