This layered dessert recipe will be a fabulous addition to your Holiday table!
Better Than The Best Cake
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 package cream cheese (8 ounces), soft
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (32 ounce) container cool whip
- 1 box vanilla instant pudding
- 1 box chocolate instant pudding
- 3 cups cold milk, seperated
Preheat oven to 350*.
Spray dish with cooking spray.
In a bowl, combine flour, margarine and nuts. Mix together well.
Press into prepared dish.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Allow crust to cool.
With mixer, mix together cheese and sugar.
Spread over crust.
Spread half of the cool whip over the cheese layer.
Mix 1 1/2 cups milk with vanilla pudding.
Spoon over cool whip layer.
Mix chocolate pudding with 1 1/2 cups milk.
Spoon over vanilla puddin layer.
Spread remaining cool whip over the top.
For decoration, sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles.
Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving. Overnight is best.
