This taco seasoning blend is perfect for anything meat or veggies. Sometimes we like to mix in with rice and beans for a little extra flavor punch.
Recipe for Gluten Free Taco Seasoning:
Serves: ½ cup
2 tablespoons chili powder
3 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
4½ teaspoons ground cumin
3 teaspoons onion powder
3 teaspoons sea salt
3 teaspoons garlic powder
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Store in a cool dark place in tightly-sealed in a glass jar.
Just a reminder when gathering spices to make the mix call the manufacture to ensure that they are really gluten free spices. Also I like to make sure that such spices have no MSG or binder to keep the extra sodium out of it.
When using this taco seasoning mix add to raw meat and veggies and cook till brown for 8-10 minutes.
