Entertainers Bette Midler and Richard Belzer talk about their careers with host David Steinberg on Showtime's "Inside Comedy" on Mon., Feb. 17, 2014, according to a media announcement emailed by Showtime on Feb. 14. "Inside Comedy" is a show that explores the careers of entertainers through personal interviews by David Steinberg. The show offers insights on life in show business and the climb to the top of the celebrity circuit.

Bette Midler shares stories about her start in comedy, as seen in the preview video released by Showtime. Midler talks about meeting Barry Manilow for the first time, and a memorable audition for "The Tonight Show." Midler, once known as "The Divine Miss M," is a talented comedian, singer and actress ("Beaches").

Steinberg also talks to stand-up comedian and actor Richard Belzer, who discusses his relationship with the audience as a stand-up comedian and how he came to land his iconic role as Sergeant John Munch on "Homicide: Life on the Street" and then on "Law & Order: SVU."

The lineup for "Inside Comedy" for season three includes notable comedians sharing a look inside the career-defining moments and never-before-heard, personal anecdotes with Steinberg as host. In addition to Belzer and Midler, this season's lineup includes: Alan Arkin, Andrew Dice Clay, Jimmy Fallon ("The Tonight Show"), Gilbert Gottfried, Jonah Hill, Richard Lewis, Kevin Nealon ("SNL," "Weeds"), Dick Van Dyke ("The Dick Van Dyke Show"), Zach Galifianakis and others.
