Outlandish fashion designer Betsey Johnson is not debuting her collection at New York Fashion Week next month. An official statement was released on Monday, Jan. 21, according to Long Island News Day. Still, the Betsey Johnson fashion house is remaining hopeful.
They said that the brand is going to thrive. Betsey plans to take Fashion Week off to focus on her new collection. This new collection includes a line of dresses for all ages and all budgets.
The crazy designer is also set to debut her reality show on the Style Network. On top of that, she's going to release a new fragrance to the masses.
Betsey faced Chapter 11 bankruptcy back in May 2012. She was determined to make a comeback from her financial troubles. Later that year, she celebrated her 70th birthday and debuted her collection at New York Fashion Week in September 2012.
Fans will miss her colorful and unique designs walking down the runway. She won't be gone for long, though. She may make an appearance at New York Fashion Week this September 2013.
