Bethesda today confirmed that “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s” title update 1.9 is currently undergoing the certification process for release on console systems. The game patch recently released for the PC version of the game and the developer has now sent the update to be approved for release on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

Title update 1.9 for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” adds a new legendary difficulty setting that allows fans to experience a more challenging play experience. With the patch, gamers are also able to reset any skill which they have leveled to rank of 100. This allows them to continue leveling and gaining perk points, thus removing the games level-cap.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” is out now on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Title update 1.9 is currently live for PC users and Bethesda has stated that they will inform fans of a console release date for the patch it has completed the certification process.
