Bethesda Softworks announced a Collector's Edition for Wolfenstein: The New Order, dubbed Panzerhund Edition, today in a press release obtained by Examiner.
The Panzerhund Edition will include "a collection of premium items from the Wolfenstein universe" and can only be purchased through Bethesda's online store, for $100. It will be available on May 20, alongside the launch of the game itself, though the game will not be included.
What is included is an 8-inch hand-painted Panzerhund statue and base, a classified folder containing secret documents, display book filled with "vintage" postcards from the game's alternate 60s, three embroidered patches, replica dog tags and a steel book case for your game, all packed in a "vintage footlicker-stlye box with an individually stamped number plate."
Stock for the Panzerhund Edition is limited to 5,000 units, pre-orders begin today. The game itself is also available for pre-order and players who do so will be given access to the new DOOM beta.
Last week, Bethesda released two new videos for The New Order: an episode of "Know Your Devs" with MachineGames' narrative designer Tommy Tordsson Björk and a look at the beginning of Chapter 3 in the game.
