This week, Bethenny Frankel sat down with Ellen DeGeneres, making her first appearance after announcing that she was divorcing from her husband, Jason Hoppy. And it didn't take long for Bethenny to shed some tears, showing just how emotional she is these days as she is coping with the decision to leave her husband. According to a new Radar Online report released on Jan. 9, Bethenny Frankel is realizing just how difficult fame can be as she has graced several magazine covers since going public with the divorce. And she went on Ellen to squash some of the rumors that are circulating.
She revealed that she felt she had disappointed fans, because she couldn't balance it all. In addition, she shared that it wouldn't be fair for her fans to only get the good things in her life on her reality show, so she is opening up about her troubles now. “I can’t just only be on reality TV and show everything when it’s fairy princess, fairytale and then not take my hits when I have to," Bethenny Frankel revealed. "I’ve kind of had the best worst year ever … it’s the highs and the lows." And she admits that being in focus during such a hard time has made her question whether she wants to quit the fame.
“This has kind of made me say to myself, 'Oh my gosh, fame is a weird thing, maybe I want to get off the ride.'" Despite not enjoying the publicity these days, Bethenny revealed she is planning on continuing with her talk show in New York this upcoming summer, and one could imagine that going back to work could be therapeutic for her.
