During a court appearance on Thursday, Frankel, 43, and Hoppy, 42, received a trial date of May 28 at 9 am, at which time Frankel will take the stand in an effort to protect her money and ensure she receives custody of their daughter, Bryn.
According to a May 22 report by Radar Online, Frankel isn't backing down when it comes to fighting for what she wants and will be “taking the stand first thing Wednesday morning” in an effort to convince the judge to side with her in she and Hoppy's split.
Oddly, a source revealed to Radar that attorneys for both Frankel and Hoppy chose to not file any documents to keep the courtroom proceedings sealed, which means press will be allowed inside the courtroom to observe -- and report on -- the pair battling it out.
“Bethenny sat outside the courtroom and made notes on what looked like a script or a book draft,” an eyewitness told Radar. “There were no tears or emotions. Both Bethenny and Jason looked very somber.”
Late last month, it was reported that Hoppy had offered to settle his divorce with Frankel for $10 million, but she declined.
Despite Frankel vowing to keep things civil at the time she filed for divorce, she and Hoppy are currently requesting full custody of Bryn. They are also in a bitter feud over Frankel's Skinnygirl earnings, which Hoppy feels partially entitled to because of his work on the brand.
