Bethenny Frankel talks about the failed ban on large sodas

Bethenny Frankel is known as a natural food chef and one can imagine that she is all about healthy living. She has admitted that her daughter Bryn is a vegetarian, as Bethenny always tries to incorporate vegetables and healthy things into Bryn's diet. And while this little family is trying to live healthy, the city that they are living in is trying to follow in her footsteps by banning large sodas. After a strong battle, Mike Bloomberg lost the fight to ban large sodas. According to a new tweet released on March 12, Bethenny Frankel shared her opinion on the ban of large sodas that failed to take effect in New York.

“I like that Mike Bloomberg tried (and failed) to ban large sodas. People would have consumed less. We finish what is in front of us,” Bethenny tweeted yesterday. One can imagine that this ban would have been effective for people's health, as many would probably just buy a large rather than two large drinks to meet the amount of soda in the large drinks that were to be banned. However, it sounds like Bethenny would have liked Bloomberg to have won his battle to ban the drinks, since he is just trying to create a healthier city.

And Bethenny seems to follow that same logic. People tend to finish what is in front of them, whether it is a small or extra large drink. So, if there is only a large drink, people would generally consume less. What do you think of her take on this health issue?
