Bethenny Frankel announced shortly before Christmas that she was separating from her husband of three years, Jason Hoppy, because things were just not working out. Weeks later, she surprised everyone by filing for divorce. Now, according to a new Reality Wives report released on Jan. 7, Bethenny Frankel is supposedly going after Jason for additional financial support for little Bryn. She doesn’t want spousal support, but according to the report, she does have a list of things she expects from Jason.
According to the report, Frankel is asking for child support from the date she filed for divorce, which would mean last week. In addition, she wants Jason to supposedly cover all medical, dental, optical, therapeutic and orthodontic expenses for both herself and for Bryn. One could imagine that with a net-worth of upwards of $25 million and $55 million, Bethenny Frankel could afford to pay for those things, at least for herself. In addition to that, Bethenny is supposedly also asking that Jason cover life insurance for both herself and Bryn. Now, people may be wondering what money Jason has considering he was working for his wife. At least that was the last thing fans heard, when she told him he would be getting a desk in her new office in their shared New York apartment.
And as for the apartment, Bethenny Frankel wants Jason to move out of the brand new pad, because she wants to live there herself. No word yet on whether Jason will fight these requirements in court, but he surely can’t provide everything if he is now being fired from the SkinnyGirl team. As for Bryn, Bethenny wants primary physical custody.
Are you surprised by these new revelations?
