Fifteen months after Frankel's initial filing, she and Hoppy are still going back and forth, with no resolve in sight. They are still feuding over money, they are still feuding over custody, and they are still feuding over who gets to live in their $5 million New York City home.
And now, they are feuding over lawyer's fees.
"[Hoppy] wants Manhattan Supreme Court matrimonial Justice Ellen Gesmer to order the former 'Real Housewives' star to cough up the dough while their bitter divorce drags on," Page Six reported on March 27. "Court filings do not show how much Hoppy owes, but top Manhattan matrimonial attorneys charge as much as $900 an hour."
Since Frankel is worth a reported $12 million, paying Hoppy's fees would likely be no problem. However, there doesn't appear to be a clear reason why she should have to.
Earlier this week, during an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," Frankel told Andy Cohen that the split has been a “really surreal, crazy insane situation."
Meanwhile, Frankel and Hoppy continue to parent their three-year-old daughter, Bryn.
