Betheny Frankel quits 'Real Housewives of New York'
Reality tv star Bethenny Frankel is leaving Real Housewives of New York and won't return for the fourth season.
As many saw coming, the breakout housewife has announced that she is done and doesn't want to come back to the backstabbing, hellish antics of the show.
"Last season was scary and painful," Bethenny told Us Weekly, adding that "it took all the joy out of it." She doesn't see any reason to return.
During RHONY, Bethenny had to constantly defend herself from fellow castmate Kelly Bensimon and she was in an endless feud with her former best friend Jill Zarin. Nw that she is a mom and happily married, the reality housewife has more important things to worry about.
However, due to contract demands, Bethenny will still make the occasional appearance on the show, even if she won't be there full time. There is also talk about a second season of her motherhood spin-off, which may be returning quite soon as well.
