Bethenny Frankel has been filming her talk show for the past year. She started filming it shortly after she filed for divorce, and this has been her therapy. However, ratings were not as good as they should have been and they have decided to cancel the show. And the news seems to come as a relief for her. According to a new letter from Bethenny on her website from Feb. 25, Bethenny Frankel is now addressing the cancellation in an open letter on her website.

Last week, the news broke that the show had been cancelled and would stop filming after the season ends this upcoming May. And since she has been asked how she feels about the cancellation, her answer may surprise viewers. Even though she has been eager and happy to film the show, it sounds like she is almost disappointed with the experience.

“In order to have the freedom to create a talk show, there are required elements that the job entails. This is the part that I didn't enjoy so much and that wasn't authentic to me. In addition, I tend to be quite inappropriate which may not be suitable for daytime television or for the suits that run network television nationwide,” she reveals, adding, “Unlike my time on Bravo, I felt a bit diluted, filtered and somewhat constricted. I am a free spirit.”

So, does this mean that she will return to reality television? In her letter, she reveals that she will focus on her daughter, her Skinnygirl business and her writing. She promises people that she will stay in touch with them, like she always has.

What do you think of her show being cancelled?
