Bethenny Frankel, Jason Hoppy divorce enters world war status

Rumors swirled earlier this month, with some wondering if the Bethenny Frankel - Jason Hoppy divorce was a publicity stunt. Based on a report issued on Thursday, the answer would seem to be no.

The venom exuding from the fangs of both Hoppy and Frankel would say "nay" to any such publicity stunt rumors. The report said that Jason Hoppy has filed his response to Bethenny's divorce petition, in which she said she wanted primary custody of the couple's 2-year-old daughter. His petition asked for the same thing, primary custody of Bryn.

In addition, Hoppy asked for child support from Frankel, and her petition, as noted earlier, says she wants the same from him.

Meanwhile -- and there is a trend here -- Hoppy has asked for Frankely to pay for medical and dental insurance and related expenses for himself and Bryn. In Bethenny's legal filing, she asks the same, that Jason pay for her medical and dental bills, as well as their daughter's.

Hoppy wants Frankel to maintain life insurance on herself, with both Bryn and himself as beneficiaries. Guess what? Frankel wants the same from Hoppy, asking him to maintain a life insurance policy for her benefit as well as Bryn's.

In addition, Hoppy's filing asks for "exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence," which -- Surprise -- Frankel asks for as well.

Finally, Hoppy wants Frankel her to pay for his lawyer, accountant, and more

In essence, the couple has the same basic idea about who should pay for what and who should live where. The problem is that the idea is similar, but the outcome is 180 degrees opposed.
