Bethenny Frankel is the most successful 'Housewives' author

Bethenny Frankel isn't just the only woman to come out of the "Real Housewives" franchise with her own talk show, she's also the most successful author, at least according to one source. On Monday, Feb. 3, All About The Real Housewives reported on the book sales of various housewives.

According to the list, Bethenny's “Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting” has sold more than 200,000 copies. That's way ahead of the second runner-up, Teresa Giudice's “Fabulicious!" at 40,000 copies. Coming in third is Brandi Glanville's “Drinking and Tweeting,” which has sold 26,000 copies.

At the bottom of the list is Caroline Manzo's "Let Me Tell You Something," with 6,000 copies sold. Melissa Gorga's "Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage" has sold 8,000 copies while LuAnn de Lesseps's "Class with the Countess: How to Live with Elegance and Flair” has sold 9,000 copies.

Of course, both Bethenny and Teresa have more than one book out, the number for which weren't included so the figures are disputable.

Plus, it doesn't include Carole Radziwill, whose memoir "What Remains: A Memoir of Fate, Friendship, and Love," is a New York Times best seller and critically acclaimed. It was probably not included because it was written before she became a "Real Housewives of New York City" member. Her new book, "The Widow's Guide to Sex and Dating: A Novel," is due out in just a few days and if it does as well as her first book, she may beat out the other housewives to come out on top of the list.

Are you surprised that Bethenny Frankel has done so well?
