Former "Real Housewives of New York" star Kelly Bensimon came out in support of her former nemesis Bethenny Frankel following the Skinnygirl's divorce announcement. According to E Online on Jan. 9, Bensimon said she feels bad for Frankel with all the struggles she is now facing.
"I feel so bad for her," Bensimon said. "But she's a strong woman. She's an incredibly strong woman."
The former "Real Housewives" star said that it is even worse on someone like Frankel because she is in the public eye so much, and the entire marriage has been under a microscope thanks to the reality television series the couple took part in. She said that she could never imagine putting her marriage and pregnancy on television and said the stress had to be great.
She also made sure to say that she also felt bad for Jason Hoppy, who she called "very nice" and "solid."
Another "Real Housewives of New York" star, Alex McCord, recently spoke up about the situation as well, saying that she still keeps in touch with Bethenny Frankel and that she is sad for both Bethenny and Jason. McCord said she hopes the divorce ends amicably with "as little acrimony and press as possible."
