Bethenny Frankel, only weeks ago announced she and her husband, Jason Hoppy would be spending time apart, Frankel decided, instead of working on the marriage, it was best to call it quits. The two met in 2008 at a nightclub and in less than a year, Jason asked Bethenny to marry him and of course she accepted and they were married in 2010, but couldn't seem to continue in the marriage because of constant arguments about family, money, and gender roles. According to TMZ, Frankel must have been planning the split for some time, but gave no indication to the fact that she was ending the marriage. Actually, rumors began surfacing prior to Frankel announcing the separation on December 23.
Trouble in Paradise
Husband Jason made a comment, according to People magazine, “It just got too hard to be husband and wife. With Bethenny, it was her way or the highway.” According to Us Weekly, although the two have split, they are still living together and plan to share custody of their 2 year old daughter, Bryn.
As you may know, Frankel has been a hard working entrepreneur, building most of her empire as the founder of Skinny Girl Cocktails. She’s also known as a natural foods cook and author of four self-help books. She has also appeared on such shows like, The Real Housewives of New York, The Apprentice, Martha Stewart, Bethenny Getting Married, and Bethenny Ever After.
