Many may have thought that Bethenny Frankel’s divorce from Jason Hoppy would be fairly quick, considering she is the one who had the idea of the SkinnyGirl cocktail, which essentially paid for their lavish lifestyle. But according to new tweets released on Jan. 24, Bethenny Frankel may have an ugly fight on her hands, because her husband isn’t about to take this battle laying down. According to the tweet, he has filed to get primary custody of their young daughter Bryn, and he has also filed to get the apartment in New York – all to himself. In other words, Bethenny could lose both custody of Bryn and the apartment she paid for if Jason gets his way.
“Yikes Bethenny Frankel’s husband fights back. He has filed for primary custody of their child, child support and he wants the couple’s apartment. Ouch,” Huffington Post writer Naughty Rob tweeted this morning. And sure enough, the Daily Mail released an article on Jan. 24 outlining exactly what it is that Jason wants. According to that report, Jason is refusing to leave the pad because he has helped Bethenny build her empire. In her series, “Bethenny Ever After” Jason considered quitting his full-time well-paying job to help out Bethenny, so he now wants a slice of the cake.
Bethenny has been spending lots of time with her daughter Bryn and it sounds like the couple will have to go to court to settle this matter. They both want Bryn full time.
