Bethenny Frankel became a 'Real Housewife' after saying 'I do'

Single lady Bethenny Frankel didn't let her single title keep her from becoming the most popular Real Housewife of New York City. Even so, Frankel legitimized her status two years after the show began, by marrying boyfriend Jason Hoppy on March 28, 2010. A seven-month-pregnant Frankel hurried to marry, in order to be medically cleared to fly on her honeymoon.

Her dog Cookie will be displaced when the baby is born in June, and Frankel twittered that she dreamed the baby was a girl.

The lavish wedding took place at the Four Seasons in New York, with Housewives Alex McCord and Ramona Singer in attendance. Housewife and Frankel antagonist, Jill Zarin, was nowhere to be found.

The wedding will be televised later this year on the reality show Bethenny's Getting Married.

Frankel was an actress before she became well-known as a reality television star. In 1994, she played the main role of Laura in the murder-filled drama Hollywood Hills 90028, and the following year had a bit role in the skin flick Wish Me Luck.

Frankel put her expertise as a chef to work, as the author of two books in 2009, Naturally Thin: Unleash Your SkinnyGirl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting and The SkinnyGirl Dish: Easy Recipes for Your Naturally Thin Life.
