Beth Ostrosky Stern visited the set of FOX & Friends this morning in New York City in order to promote the adoption of dogs from animals shelters. The celebrity author, activist and wife of Howard Stern met with FOX & Friends host Eric Bolling outside and showed off a couple of Treeing Walker Coonhounds who are ready for adoption. Beth Ostrosky Stern spoke about the importance adopting dogs from shelters while showing off one of the family friendly dogs from the litter.
Beth Ostrosky Stern: “We just launched our national PSA reminding people to go to their local shelters, don’t buy from a pet store . . .I am going to north shore today and adopting my third cat.” Beth Ostrosky Stern explained to viewers her current public service campaign for the North Shore Animal League, for which she is a spokesperson, and also her excitement about adopting a new cat later today.
Beth Ostrosky Stern is an active advocate for animals. She is a spokesperson for the North Shore Animal League which has been rescuing dogs, cats, puppies and kittens since 1944. The non-profit has saved about 1,000,000 animals to date. The North Shore Animal League is the largest “no-kill” rescue and adoption organization in the world. The charity works hard to find homes for pets rather than putting unclaimed pets to sleep. The North Shore Animal League is also a strong advocate for raising awareness and promoting acceptance of mixed-breed animals.
