Howard Stern's wife Beth Ostrosky Stern has taped a new animal adoption public service announcement that she hopes will reduce the millions of pets euthanized in shelters every year.

In the new spot, sponsored by Ostrosky Stern's favorite chairty the North Shore Animal League, Beth O says promotes "the Mutt-i-grees movement" aims to change the perception of shelter pets through "education and awareness".
"Shelters have all kinds of healthy, affectionate and beautiful animals, so there's no need to buy a dog or a cat from a pet store," say Beth O in the PSA while cuddling a devastatingly adorable mutt puppy.

Beth O has been a vocal animal advocate for years and is the official spokesperson for the North Shore Animal League. The Sterns adopted two adult cats from the shelter over the past year. They also own a purebred bulldog named Bianca.
