BET to rebroadcast ‘Gun Hill’ starring Larenz Tate

“Gun Hill” will get another showing on BET this weekend. The television movie starring veteran actor Larenz Tate as twins on the opposite side of the law will re-air Saturday July 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The movie is apart of the network’s Star Cinema programming.

In the film Tate stars as a con man who takes on the identity of his deceased twin brother who was a cop. The movie also stars Emayatzy Corinealdi who will be seen in Don Cheadle’s passion project “Miles Ahead”, Aisha Hinds, Phyliss Yvonne Stickney, Tawny Cypress, Hisham Tawfiq and Michael Aronov.

Tate is well known to movie fans for the cult classic “Love Jones” which paired him with actress Nia Long (“Best Man Holiday”). The former child star’s talent has taken him from the small to the big screen. Among his television credits are the shows “Frank’s Place”, “Family Matters” and “Rescue Me”. His movie roles also include “Menace II Society”, “The Inkwell”, “Dead Presidents”, “Why Do Fools Fall in Love” and “Biker Boyz”.

“Gun Hill” which is directed by Reggie Rock Bythewood (“New York Undercover”, “Biker Boyz”, “Dancing in September”) premiered on the cable network July 2.
