BET’s Sunday Best is returning for Season 6. The audition dates, cities and some locations have been announced via BET’s website. Additional information, including registration for the VIP Audition suite is pending.
Last season’s Sunday Best boasted a strong group of contenders including the first male winner, Joshua Rogers and the runner-up, Alexis Spight. Rogers’s album debuted #1 on Billboard Gospel charts and Spight’s album will be released soon.
The winner of Sunday Best will receive a recording contract as well as other prizes. This season’s audition songs include both contemporary (“I Need Your Glory”) and traditional songs (“Blessed Assurance”). For the full list of audition songs, visit BET’s Sunday Best website.
