January has been a spectacular month for UFO sightings so far in 2013, and the video attached here is proof. The clear star is not a UFO in the strictest sense, being rather apparent evidence of a secret jet aircraft prototype caught over the legendary Area 51 in Nevada.
The video, posted on Jan. 30, was compiled by Third Phase Of Moon, a YouTube channel which is sometimes accused, and rightly so, of sensationalizing mundane sightings for increased web traffic. But, as always, there are a few gems hidden in the mix.
Aside from the "Batman" looking airplane pushed to the middle of the compilation, it seems that the classic flying saucer is once again ruling the skies, day and night.
The dozen or so sightings in this collection are made up mostly of the saucer kind, with one particularly unusual example caught at night and displaying "Close Encounters" style, revolving hull lights. It makes for a very spooky sighting, to say the least.
Also creepy is the "glowing orb" video, allegedly caught on a surveillance camera at night. The camera is watching over the home of Stan Romanek. He's the UFO hunter who claims to have been abducted by "Grey Aliens" and posted a video, a few years back, of one of the aliens peeking through his kitchen window at night.
That story has been largely disproved for all but true believers. If this orb object isn't real, then Romanek has clearly upgraded his hoaxing equipment.
